On the waterbus, take the 1 Line to cruise all the way through the Grand Canal.                The Piazzetta, with the columns of the lion of St. Mark and St. Theodore.             Venice. Venezia. Italy. My first visit to a European city. Kristina said Venezia felt "like Disneyland."  Our room didn't have much of a view, but that didn't matter. Hop on the waterbus, and ride down the Grand Canal. See the sights. Enjoy the views, even at night. You need to hit the pavement to see everything. Sometimes Venezia felt like a small world. Bring a map, or you could be lost forever. Eventually, we had to take the train to our next destination. But Venezia's uniqueness will never be forgotten.
